BORGER, Texas (KVII) — Two people are hospitalized after a shooting in Borger.

Borger police were called to the 300 block of Madison Street before 7:15 p.m. Monday.

Two victims were transported to Golden Plains Community Hospital. One of them was later flown by air ambulance to another hospital, according to police.

Police said two "persons of interest" were detained for questioning.

"There is no ongoing threat to the community," said BPD.
