AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Amarillo police are trying to find a possible suspect in connection with a shooting that hurt a woman and hit a home multiple times on Monday.

The shooting happened just before midnight on Monday at a house in the 1700 block of NE 16th Avenue.

Officers arrived to find the house was shot multiple times and one victim, a 37-year-old woman, suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators discovered an unknown male was in the area and identified him as a potential suspect.
