1 hospitalized after early morning shooting at Amarillo bar | KVII

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — One person is hospitalized after early morning shooting at an Amarillo bar.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. in the alley behind Zombiez Bar and Grill in the 700 block of SW 10th Avenue.

The male victim had been taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries before police arrived.

A witness told ABC 7 she heard more than a dozen shots.

The shooting is being investigated by the Amarillo PD Violent Crimes Unit.
