HUTCHINSON COUNTY, Texas (KVII) — A suspect was arrested after law enforcement said he killed his stepdad.

Hutchinson County Sheriff confirmed to ABC 7 Amarillo that Tayber Michael, 22 killed his stepdad with a shotgun around 2:30 p.m.

The shooting happened before 2:30 p.m. on County Line Road.

Michael was taken into custody after an hours long manhunt.

He was arraigned in Carson County on Friday on a $1 million bond.
