Amarillo man indicted for murder of his girlfriend

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — An Amarillo man was indicted for the murder of his girlfriend.

A Randall County Grand Jury indicted Juan Antonio Salinas III for the murder ofCecilia Rodriguez.

Rodriguez. 27, was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound in February at her home in the 4000 block of S. Ong.

Salinas, 26, called 911 after the shooting.

Rodriguez left behind a 3-year-old son and a newborn girl, according to her brothers.
