AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A man was punched in the face and carjacked in broad daylight.

The victim told police he was sitting at the intersection of SW 44th Ave. and Cline Road around 12:30 p.m.

A car pulled in front of him, blocking him from going further.

A man wearing all black clothing got out, punched the victim and forced him out of his car.

The victim was treated at the scene.

Police are looking for the stolen vehicle and the car jacker.
