Driver injured after crashing into Amarillo apartment building

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A driver was hurt after crashing into the Plum Creek Apartments.

The wreck happened just after 8 a.m. Friday.

Amarillo police responded to the 5900 block of Plum Creek for a crash involving a car and an apartment building.

According to police, the driver had a medical issue and lost control of their car.

The resident of the apartment that was hit left just before the accident happened.

The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
