2 'violent fugitives' arrested after running from US Marshals, other law enforcement

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Two "violent fugitives" were arrested after running from US Marshals and other law enforcement officers.

On Wednesday, officers from the Amarillo Police Department's Proactive Criminal Enforcement Unit (PACE), APD SWAT, along with the Potter County Sheriff's Office, and the US Marshall Service, were attempting to arrest Isaac Botello, 22, and Skyler Coleman, 22.

Botello and Coleman were located at a home in the 4000 block of Pinon. But but before officers were able to take them into custody, the suspects left in a vehicle.

After a short chase, Botello and Coleman got out of their vehicle and ran into a field near the 4000 block of Lakeside.

They were caught a short time later.

According to APD, both suspects had stolen guns in their possession and in the vehicle.

Botello was charged with bond surrender-carrying a prohibited weapon, bond surrender-probation violation-unlawful carrying a weapon, bond surrender-probation violation-aggravated assault w/deadly weapon x2, bond surrender-probation violation-deadly conduct discharge firearm, evading arrest, aggravated assault w/ deadly weapon, theft of firearm, prohibited weapon, unlawful carrying weapon, evading and drug paraphernalia.

Coleman was charged with bond surrender-aggravated assault, probation violation-aggravated assault, unlawful carrying weapon, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, evading in a motor vehicle, evading, unlawful carrying weapon, prohibited weapon, theft of firearm and drug paraphernalia.
