1 person escapes raging house fire in Amarillo

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — One person escaped a raging house fire in Amarillo.

Around 11 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters were dispatched to a house at 803 S. Florida Street.

When they arrived, the home was engulfed in flames.

They got it under control shortly after midnight.

No injuries were reported.

The Fire Marshal's Office has not determined the cause.
