Synopsis: On March 28, APD responded around 2:55 a.m. to reports of gunfire near SW 8th Ave. and S. Maryland Street. Upon arrival, officers found multiple spent cartridge casings scattered across the street and in nearby yard areas. Inside a home, officers found 40-year-old Moneke Denice Glass suffering from gunshot wounds. Glass had been asleep inside her home when the shooting happened.
