AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — One man is dead and two women were hurt as a result of a shooting early Sunday morning.

Around 4:45 a.m., Amarillo police were called to a hospital for three gunshot victims dropped off by private vehicle.

Javaurian Penns, 21, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Two female victims, ages 17 and 18, were injured but expected to survive.

Police later determined the shooting happened at the intersection of Amarillo Boulevard West and McMasters

The Amarillo Police Department's Homicide Unit is investigating.

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Amarillo police are asking for witnesses to come forward to help identify the suspect of a deadly shooting early Sunday morning.

The shooting happened at Amarillo Boulevard West and North McMasters on March 26 at 4:35 a.m.

Police were informed of three gunshot victims that had arrived at a local hospital.

Javaurian Penns, 21, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Two female victims, ages 17 and 18, were injured.
