AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — An early morning fire caused $20,000 in damages to a home.

The Amarillo Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 1219 N. Fairfield at about 4:34 a.m.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire showing from the front of the home.

Crews applied water from the outside before entering.

No injuries were reported.

The Amarillo Fire Marshal's Office was contacted to investigate.
