AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A man was indicted for murder after a deadly fight at Georgia Street Taphouse.

A Potter County grand jury indicted 21-tear-old Joel Arellano Mendez, Jr.

The fight happened June 5.

Police were called to the restaurant because a man was causing a disturbance and refusing to leave.

While officers were on the way, Mendez andJoe Luis Gonzales, 58, got into a fight in the parking lot.

Gonzales was taken to the hospital and later transferred to Lubbock.

He died five days later.
