AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — The Amarillo Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of a fire that caused $20,000 in damages to a house on Friday.

The fire was reported just after 9:45 a.m. in the 1400 block of S. Roberts.

The first unit arrived on the scene at 9:53 p.m. and the fire was under control at 10:05 p.m.

There were no injuries reported.

The Fire Marshal's Office has not determined the cause of the fire.

The fire caused an estimated $20,000 in damages.

A second alarm response was dispatched due to the initial report possibly being from the adjacent apartment complex.

Six fire trucks with two command units and 26 firefighters responded to the fire.
