DUMAS, Texas (KVII) — Law enforcement in Dumas arrested one man after seizing 82 grams of Fentanyl pills and almost 83 grams of methamphetamine, worth more than $25,000 combined, during a search warrant.

Dumas police officers and detectives were assisted by the Moore County Sheriff's Office with a narcotics search warrant at about 8 a.m. on Friday.

The warrant was executed at a residence in the 100 block of Beard Avenue in Dumas as a result of an investigation by Dumas police narcotics officers.

Dumas Police Department and Moore County Sheriff's Office tactical officers entered and secured the property, detaining one person who was named on the warrant.

Investigators searched the property and found 82.4 grams of Fentanyl pills, about 82.9 grams of methamphetamine, more than $5,000 in illicit funds and a firearm.

Joel De Luna, 40, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute controlled substance penalty group 1, a first-degree felony, and unlawful carrying of a weapon, a Class A misdemeanor.

De Luna was booked into the Moore County Jail on those charges.
