Woman shot, injured during fight in north Amarillo | KVII

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Amarillo police are investigating after a woman was shot during a fight in the Hamlet neighborhood on Friday evening.

At around 5:39 p.m., officers were called to 1300 La Mesa Avenue on a fight.

While on the way, police were told two people were fighting in the street and one woman was shot with unknown injuries.

No further details have been made available at this time.
