Man suffers 'life-threatening-injuries' after attacking teen with baseball bat, police say

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A man suffered "life-threatening-injuries" after he attacked a teenager with a baseball bat, according to Amarillo police.

The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 1200 block of Iris Street.

Witnesses told police that a 28-year-old man and a 19-year-old man got into a fight in the street.

The 28-year-old left and came back with a baseball bat.

When the man with the bat attacked the 19-year-old, police said the teenager shot him.

The 28-year-old man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening-injuries.

No arrests have been made.
