Amarillo Fire Department investigating cause of early morning house fire on Williams St.

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo Fire Department is investigating the cause of an early morning house fire on Williams Street.

Officials say crews arrived to find a heavy fire throughout the house around 7 a.m. this morning.

AFD immediately gained entry and began getting water on the fire.

A supply line was laid from the hydrant to support suppression operations.

Officials say there were no reported injuries and one person was able to get out of the house.

Red Cross was called to assist and the Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause.
