Amarillo police: 2 dead after Sunday morning shooting
AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo Police Department is seeking the community’s help for information regarding a Sunday morning shooting that left two men dead.
Officials say APD officers were sent to the area of NW 9th Avenue and N Travis Street Sunday morning on reports of shots fired and people fighting.
Upon arrival, officials found 18-year-old Chrisavion Deontay Green and 42-year-old Andy Wayne Curtis Galloway. Both men had been shot multiple times and were pronounced dead on the scene.
Officials say the shooters left the scene before officers arrived.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the APD Homicide Unit at 806-378-9468 or submit an anonymous tip through the Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-378-4400. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the P3 tip app.
Amarillo police are asking anyone in the area of the shooting to check video surveillance systems at homes or businesses.
