AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Two Amarillo parents pleaded guilty to child endangerment charges after their 1-year-old tested positive for cocaine.
According to court records, Marc Soria-Ochoa, Sr., and Scarlett Little each tested positive for cocaine in May.
The child tested positive for the drug shortly after.
Soria-Ochoa was sentenced to four years probation and issued a $4,000 fine.
Little was sentenced to five years probation with a $2,000 fine.
Editor's Note: ABC 7 News initially reported that the couple pleaded guilty to child endangerment charges related to the death of their 2-year-old child. That death was not related to the circumstances of this case.
